the Competition Stages

The 'Stages' are set...yes, literally. Competition stages are not set in traditional competition arenas, but in environmental battle challenges (car, train, airplane, bus, stairway, wet tiles, knee-high water, sand, gravel, concrete, and within a marsh & muddy terrain) with the final matches not in a cage (octagon) or a roped-ring, but in a circular (thick, hard-plexiglass) ring.

Stage 01

Car

Warriors will battle in car, forcing them to truly exacerbate their grappling skills, close-quarters combat and submission abilities.

Stage 02

Train

The close-quarters range of the isle of a train shall test the grit of the best warriors, as they must use their skills to counter attacks and either knockout or submit their opponent.

Stage 03

Bus

Buses are no different to trains and cause for close-quarters range of skill, power and speed in the isle of a bus, as warriors shall test their skill against those trying to knock them out, as they must counter attacks and either knockout or submit their opponent.

Stage 04

Airplane

If you have never been attacked in an airplane, 30,000 feet in the air, then you truly don't know what fear and rage are, causing your close-quarters skills, to be tested, as you can't pull over and jump out. No escape; you must fight. Buckle up.

Stage 05

Stairway

Martial Artists typically train and practice their art and skills on level ground. Well a stairwell puts a whole new dynamic to your training and skills. But aren't you training for and must be prepared to deal with real-world scenarios?  Here's one.

Stage 06

Sand

You are hanging out with friends on the beach and things go south as a drunk idiot decides he wants to test your resolve. Sand make a much different environmental challenge than the dojo, boxing ring or MMA cage.

Stage 07

Mud

So you think you can fight, until placed in the unforgiving environment of slippery, wet mud, that let's the opponent slip out of your grip, wiggle out of chokes and holds, all with the risk of mud in your eyes. You got the grit?

Stage 08

Paved Street

All Warriors train for battle in the street. It's the number one environmental scenario that Martial Artist train for. Well now's your chance to see how you would perform in one-on-one combat with an deadly opponent.

Stage 09

Knee-High Water

You never know your skill-level with certainty until you are handicapped by only being able to use your hands, as kicks become ineffective in knee-high water.

Stage 10

Dirt & Concrete

You definitely realize how important balance becomes when you try to battle an opponent on the shifting surface of concrete with dirt on it. You think twice about kicking high or kicking at all. You definitely resist going to the ground.

Stage 11

Bar

Bar fights are commonplace in any city, any town and certainly where idiots get drunk and become inebriated. Test your skills against a belligerent opponent at a bar.

Stage 12

Grass

It is always important to test your skills by fighting on a variety of surfaces. Grass in definitely not always greener on the other side of standing up; i.e. getting your face slammed on the green as your opponent tries to mow the lawn with your face.
