the Phases

“WWG” is structured as violent and brutal with Olympic-style rules, allowing fighters of various disciplines to prove which martial arts style will prevail above all others in realistic, uncompromising situations. The Olympiad competition shall feature martial artists from different disciplines, representing their country, facing each other in a grueling, ‘no-holds barred’ combat-oriented competition. The intent is to develop the Olympiad into a global contest of wills and skills in the martial arts, competing every four years, with weight & gender classes so that combatants will be able to fight within their own weight class and against their own gender, battling to each earn $10 million

Aside from very basic courtesies [i.e. no eye gouging, or strikes to the groin], the rules are closer to Olympic rules, rather than the Unified MMA rules, with permissible striking areas to include, head-butts, small joint manipulation, pressure point strikes, and hair pulling.

Every round is four (4) minutes in duration and there are three (3) rounds in preliminary bouts. Title matches have five (5) rounds, and weapons matches have three rounds. There is a one minute rest period in-between rounds. Mass attack competition has only one round, three stages.
